Dr. Julie Wyatt, B.A.Sc., N.D., Clinic Director
Dr. Julie has been in private practice in Markham since 1999. She is a caring and compassionate Naturopathic Doctor who thoroughly enjoys working with people of all ages on their path to optimal health. She received an
Honours Bachelor of Applied Science at the University of Guelph in 1993 and then completed her medical training at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto. While at CCNM, she concomitantly earned Naturopathic Medical Educator Certificate and acted as a student representative on the board of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND).
Dr. Julie has a great passion for helping others improve their health, and thereby their quality of life, through naturopathic medicine. She regularly evaluates new research and treatments in both conventional and complementary medicine to improve the care she can provide in her practice. As part of her training, Julie has traveled extensively to study with some of the teachers and doctors she most respects to develop her special interests in digestive health and women’s health issues including infertility, pregnancy, menstrual disorders and menopause. She also enjoys working with children and families.
She has been featured on television, written articles for magazines, acted as consultant for corporate health and wellness centers, and has lectured on contemporary health issues within our own clinic as well as at the naturopathic college, several local businesses, Chapters/Indigo bookstores and the University of Toronto.
When not in the clinic, Julie enjoys cooking, hiking, yoga and spending time with her three wonderful children (8, 12 and 21 years old) and their puppy "Daisy".
